DFA Dairy Brands is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to support to a fast-paced, customer-centric logistics team located in McDonough, GA. The successful candidate will have strong administrative skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be highly motivated to provide the highest level of customer service at all times. Experience in logistics or transportation strongly preferred.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Assists department and/or office staff, performing any combination of clerical duties including answering phones, filing, sorting, receiving, classifying, reconciling and summarizing documents and information.
  • Maintains various records and logs.
  • Uses PC, calculator, and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, retrieving, and compiling information.
  • Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures.   

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of initiative.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication.
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screens (including drug, background and criminal checks).
