Job Description & Requirements

General Purpose:

This position will be responsible for providing actionable financial analysis in support of the business corporate leadership. This role will serve as a crucial and versatile player on the FP&A team, providing data and insights to stakeholders across the organization to drive more efficient and effective decision making against key strategic initiatives.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

§  Build relationships with key stakeholders and business partners in Finance and throughout the organization

§  Leverage systems, reports, data, excel, and relationships to build analytical models and identify business drivers related to key strategic initiatives

§  Engage in ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed to support the growth and development of the business

§  Support business and business unit teams in developing their strategy & executing critical analyses

§  Assist in the budgeting and planning process supporting business unit leadership

§  Utilize and enhance business intelligence and planning tools

§  Create recommendations around key business issues to present to Senior Leadership

§  Performs other duties as apparent or assigned

 

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience

§  Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or finance-related curriculum plus 2-4 years of Financial Analysis or Accounting experience

§  MBA or CPA a plus

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

§  Analytical Ability: Effectively interprets how various components of a process or structure impact one another and draw accurate conclusions by interpreting data correlations.  Uses analytical methods appropriate to the situation and are quick to detect inconsistencies in available information.   Anticipates problems, opportunities and the needs of the business.

§  Financial Acumen: Understands the financial framework of the organization.  Uses financial processes and metrics to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company.   Interprets and uses financial data to make informed business decisions.  Uses cost-benefit thinking to set priorities and recognizes the impact of income and expenditure adjustments on individual projects and the organization overall.  Possess a thorough understanding of financial statements and relationships between income statement, balance sheet and cash flow statements

§  Knowledge of supply chain concepts, operating models, and cost accounting concepts a plus

§  Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills. Understanding of business intelligence systems and data warehousing.  Experience working with ERP systems is a plus

  • Noise level is usually quiet
  • Required to sit for periods of time

 

Percent Travel:

  • Up to 20% travel
